About Playing With Dough Cookies

Hi there! My name's Gayle, and I am said woman with a whisk. I'm also the lady behind the lens, the female with the flour, the mom with a mixer and a measuring cup. And indeed, that also makes me the one who likes to play with dough! 

I've been baking cookies since I was in high school, mostly at Christmastime to give to neighbors and friends. It wasn't until my daughter took me to a cookie decorating class for my birthday several years ago that I considered doing more. Even then, the idea wasn't fully-baked (ha) until I discovered a friend had a successful business selling crème brûlée locally.

I put two and two together, as bakers often do, and voilà! The result was Playing with Dough. 

My goal is simple — I want to help you celebrate life's moments with beautiful and delicious, classic or custom home-baked cookies and more.
